Three Awards at ISMIR 2016!

Researchers at the Machine Listening Lab at QMUL won three of five awards at the 2016 International Symposium on Music Information Retrieval!

• “Best Student Paper” was awarded to Maria Panteli, Emmanouil Benetos and Simon Dixon: Learning a Feature Space for Similarity in World Music
• “Best Reviewer” was awarded to PhD student Francisco Rodríguez-Algarra
• “Best Poster Presentation” was awarded to Bob L. Sturm: Revisiting Priorities: Improving MIR Evaluation Practices. (See one part of his poster here.)
